OUR MISSION:The Evanston Parks Foundation was established to generate financial support from the public and private sectors for enhancements to the City of Evanston park facilities and recreation, arts, and ecology programs.
Thousands of people enjoy our City’s parks, lakefront, and recreation centers each year. In response to the growing desire for usable open spaces and state of the art recreation facilities, the Evanston Parks Foundation was established.
We strive to improve the quality of life for those who love, work or play in Evanston.

WAYS WE HELP
The Focus of Our Efforts

PAST ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The Evanston Parks Foundation has been helping our community since 2004. The Mayor’s annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive and Noah’s Playground for Everyone are some of our more known efforts.

CURRENT EFFORTS
Our enthusiastic new board is ready to start fundraising efforts to benefit the City’s parks and programs.
We would love to help fund additional restrooms at parks as they are being renovated to allow for more programming at neighborhood parks. Last summer, we paid for the City to put 8 porta potties in different parks throughout the City. We would love to find out what neighborhoods would most benefit from additional restrooms.
EPF paid for adaptive bocce ball equipment for the City’s special recreation department. We also gave $22,000 to help start the new South End Community Center’s special recreation programming. The ability for all residents to be able to participate in our City programs is important to us.
Join us in making a difference. The time is now.
